About Tree Beginnings

In 1992 Rick and I were married.

I dreamed of a wedding of elaborate elegance,
A Church filled with family and friends.
I asked what kind of wedding he wished for,
He said one that would make me his wife.

Since trees were his lifeline we wanted to celebrate our new beginning  by giving our guests a favor that would not only reflect his tree seed business but his passion for nature. We gave our guests tree seedlings and they were received with much enthusiasm and enjoyment.

After giving tree seedlings at our wedding, we wanted to fill a niche for environmentally friendly brides and grooms with tree seed favors that are easy to grow.

Over the years, we have expanded our offerings to include favors for baby showers, bridal showers, and other special occasions.

Here is a picture of one of the trees from our wedding, taken in 2009.

We’ve been able to watch the tree grow and thrive, thanks to my Uncle Matt and Aunt Isabel ‘s impeccable care and the fact that they did not move.

My Aunt Isabel is an exceptional gardener, who has also nurtured some smaller trees from seed which we gave her to commemorate the birth of our son. All the trees in Uncle Matt and Aunt Isabel ‘s yard are a testimonial to planting for a greener tomorrow.

“I have great faith in a seed. Convince me that you have a seed there and I am prepared to expect wonders”

Henry David Thoreau

Throughout the years, Tree Beginnings Inc. has continued to offer quality, unique keepsakes inspired by nature. Giving eco wedding favors  is a caring way to help the environment for today and future generations. To all brides and grooms we invite you to plant your dreams and watch the miracles grow.
